Country Terrace Restaurant

The Country Terrace has an enviable position, perched on a cliff top in Mgarr, Gozo. Originally a farmhouse, the traditional building has been extended with a huge terrace that provides panoramic views over the yachting marina, and over the Malta/Comino channel. With ferries hypnotically passing by, and being secluded from view by surrounding trees, it’s the perfect spot to while away the time. At night, subtle lighting, twinkly fairy lights, soft ambient music, and the fact that tables for two are positioned on the terrace edge away from tables for larger groups, makes this perhaps the most romantic of al fresco dining spots on the Maltese islands.
